Attending AGU Fall Meeting
Professor Zhentao Cong and his PhD student Kangle Mo, master student Baoxiang Pan attended the 2014 AGU Fall Meeting during December 14th to 20th, 2014. AGU Fall Meeting is the largest Earth and space science meeting in the world. It brings together the entire Earth and space sciences community for discussions of emerging trends and the latest research. Posters entitled “Optimal Vegetation Cover in The Horqin Sands of Inner Mongolia” and “Information Analysis of Watershed Hydrological Patterns across Temporal Scales” were presented by Kangle Mo and Baoxiang Pan, respectively. The poster of “High Evapotranspiration in Urban Areas – A Case Study in Beijing”, after Lin Zhou’s research, was shown in the poster hall. The posters attracted many attendances’ attention, and interesting discussions were made during the presentation. The students’ expression and presentation skills in English were improved greatly.
