Attending 2017 AGU Fall Meeting
Hong Shen and Qining Shen attended the 2017 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in New Orleans during 11th December to 15th December.
Hong Shen made a poster in the session of Hydrology: Budyko and Beyond, Advances and Applications of a Simple Water and Energy Balance Model. The title of her research is “Studying basin water balance variations at inter- and intra-annual time scales based on the Budyko hypothesis and GRACE gravimetry satellite observations”.

QiNing Shen delivered a poster in the session of Hydrology: Challenges Understanding the Links between Hydrological Variability and Large-Scale Climate Variations in a Changing Climate and Environment. The title of her study is “Evaluating the impact of climate and underlying surface change on runoff within the Budyko framework: a study across 224 catchments in China”.
